Susan L. Hartman, 76 of Bluffton, passed away on Thursday morning, March 11, 2021. Just as the way the wilted blooms fall, she flew away to heaven and left us with beautiful memories. Our matriarch gained her wings in heaven on March 11, 2021. She was surrounded by her loved ones while she peacefully passed away. Susan was born on October 31, 1944 to Paul and Catherine (Becher) Longsworth in Miami, Arizona. She was the 2nd born of eight children. She spent her youth growing up on the farm and helped take care of her younger siblings. Susan graduated from Adams Central in 1962. She spent the years raising her children and tending to her flowers that surrounded her corner home on West Washington Street. She collected the most beautiful angel's, she never missed a birthday and always made sure to make an extra batch of her famous potatoes. Susan loved spending time with her family and was always there to cheer on her grandkids no matter the sport. She is missed dearly by her children, Brad Hartman, Darin (Kami) Hartman, Tami (Dave) Williams, Todd (Anjie) Hartman and Jeremy (Robin) Hartman. Her 22 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Her siblings, Joseph (Pam) Longsworth, Gloria (Ed) Daniels and Linda Williams, all of Decatur.
