Little Miss Ellie Grace Schortgen, Infant, went into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 11:50 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Ellie was born on February 26, 2016 at 2:36 p.m., the daughter of Travis and Emily (Oswalt) Schortgen of rural Warren. Ellie is survived by her parents; paternal grandparents, William “Bill” and Malia Schortgen of Poneto; maternal grandparents, Kenny and Julie Oswalt of Pendleton; great-grandparents, Don and Addie Oswalt of Poneto, Carolyn Stover of Hartford City and Donford and Genelda Lancaster of Poneto; and several aunts and uncles. A private family service will be held in Ellie’s memory. Memorials may be made in Ellie’s honor to Mad Anthony’s Children’s Hope House of Fort Wayne.
