Karen J. (Troyer) Mast Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Karen J. (Troyer) Mast, 51 of Ossian passed away at 10:20 a.m. Thursday, December 04, 2014, at her residence. Karen was born on January 16, 1963 in Canton, Ohio to Calvin & Sadie (Overholt) Troyer. On October 24, 1987 in Byesville, Ohio she married Chester L. Mast. A homemaker, she also worked in the family dairy business. She was a member of the Christian Mission Fellowship Church in Berne. She is survived by her parents Calvin & Sadie Troyer of Quaker City, Ohio and her husband Chester of Ossian along with children: Chad (Krista) Mast of Harlan, IN, Brent (Tammy) Mast of Butler, IN, Dale Mast, Juli Mast, Lyle Mast and Don Mast all of Ossian. She is also survived by siblings: Rhonda (James) Gincerich of Leesburg, OH, Michelle (Clem) Barkman of McConnelsville, OH, Titus (Sharon) Troyer of Middlebury, IN, Wayne (Ilona) Troyer of Freeport, OH and Anna (Jason) Miller of Quaker City, OH. Calling Hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 8, 2014, at Hope Missionary Church in Bluffton. Leonard Mast, Melvin Bontrager, Samson Eicher and Maynard Nisly will officiate. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery in Tocsin, Indiana. Memorials may be given in Karen’s memory to Brotherhood Medical Assistance Plan through the funeral home.
