Donald D. Ormsby, 75, of Bluffton passed away at his residence on May 29, 2016 at 3:10PM. Don was born in Bluffton on February 20, 1941 to James and Lela (Elzey) Ormsby. Don attended the Bluffton High School. On February 2, 1963 Donald and Sandra Blair were married at the Bluffton Nazarene Church. Don had worked for the family business, Ormsby Trucking, for 35 years where he had been a driver, dispatcher and mechanic. Don was a member of the Wells County Genealogy Society, the Adams Co. Coin Club and the Indianapolis Post Card Club. Donald and Sandra are members of Life Church. Don is survived by his Wife Sandra Ormsby of Bluffton, Daughter Laurie (Kurt) Hontz of Columbia City, Son James (Tammy) Ormsby of Columbia City, Son Greg (Laura) Ormsby of Columbia City, Daughter Dawn Renee Ormsby of Bluffton, Daughter Kelly (Tim) Williams of Bluffton, Son Eric Ormsby of Florida, 10 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Don was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Vaughn, Max, Bob and Wendell, Sister Ruth Bates and Great Granddaughter Arianna Hontz. A visitation will be held at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home 308 W. Washington St. Bluffton on June 1st 2016 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. A funeral Service will be held on June 2nd 2016 at 11:00AM with Pastor Steve Surbaugh officiating. Calling will also take place one hour prior to the service.
