Debra Sue McConnehey 44, of Bluffton, passed away Thursday evening November 12, 2020 at her home. Debra was born in Decatur, IN to Charles G. Brock and Karen S. Beitler. Debra was a 1994 graduate of Bluffton High School. She graduated from Trine University in 2018 with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. She had worked at Wells County Community Corrections and The Division of Family Resources. On October 5, 2008 in Fort Wayne, IN Debra married Scott D. McConnehey who survives. Survivors include her mother Karen S. Beitler, of Bluffton, her husband Scott D. McConnehey of Bluffton, her five children; Sequoia Kennedy, Nathan Kennedy, Joshua Kennedy, Jasmine McConnehey, and James Brock all of Bluffton, three grandchildren Wyatt Kennedy of Fort Wayne, Roman and Constatine Laughery both of Bluffton, a brother, Jeffery Burgin of Warsaw, IN, two sisters, Dawn Heckert of Franklin, IN, and Candace (Zolman) Carrillo of Fort Wayne, IN. She was preceded in death by her father Charles G. Brock and a brother Kevin Brock. Visitation will be held from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Friday, November 20, 2020 at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton. There will be a Private celebration of Debra’s life on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton with Alex McConnehey officiating.
