Andrea M. Grover

Andrea M. Grover, 64 of Bluffton, passed away on Sunday morning, June 20, 2021 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Andrea was born on September 14, 1956 in Covington, Kentucky to Ralph & Ruth M. (Schmitt) Thiery. She graduated from Blackford High School with the class of 1974. Andrea worked for Bluffton Regional Medical Center for 20 years, starting out in the Physical Therapy Department, and then worked as a switch board operator. She also worked at Heyerly’s Market and enjoyed her time that she was part of the Posy Pot Florist, for many years! Andrea never knew a stranger and always greeted you with a warm smile! She was a dedicated member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bluffton for many years. On November 20, 1976 at the Catholic Church in Montpelier, Andrea and Marty K. Grover were married. Survivors include her husband of almost 45 years, Marty of Bluffton and three sons; Greg (Sherry) Grover of Toledo, OH., Bret (Brandy) Grover of Monroe and Adam (Jennifer) Grover of Poneto. Andrea was a proud grandma to 8 grandchildren; Brody, Brennen, Cooper & Carson Grover, Brielle & Brionna Grover and Tyler & Madison Grover. Andrea is also survived by her loved and spoiled dachshund, Nakia Marie! Andrea is also survived by her siblings; Ralph (Loretta) Thiery of Lima, Ohio, Cindy Norton of Montpelier, Maria Thiery of Montpelier, Jim (Jeanette) Thiery of Montpelier, Tim (Mary Ann) Thiery of Muncie, Beth Brown of Hartford City, Derinda (Jerry) Shady of Hartford City, Daryl (Shelia) Thiery of Cincinnati, OH., Mike (Geri) Thiery of Cummings, GA. and Tom (Denise) Thiery of LaPorte, IN. Andrea is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Cathy Rogers. Visitation will take place from 1 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Thursday (June 24,2021) at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton. A Rosary Service will be prayed at 8 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home, at the conclusion of calling. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday (June 25, 2021) at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bluffton with calling for one hour prior to the mass on Friday. Father David Violi will Celebrate Mass for Andrea. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in Bluffton. Memorials may be made in Andrea’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, Cleveland Clinic or to have masses said in her honor.
