| Daniel Alan Blair 55 of Plymouth, and former Bluffton resident, passed away unexpectedly at 9:05 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2010, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth.
Dan was born on May 18, 1955 in Bluffton to Clarence E. & Sue (Cheesman) Blair. He was a graduate of Huntington North High School. A member of Plymouth Wesleyan church, Dan enjoyed being around people, group Bible studies, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents of Markle, Indiana, two daughters; Valerie Blair of Arizona and Marcie Blair of Plymouth, two brothers Darrell (wife Lori) Blair of Markle, In and Dee W. (wife Deb) Blair of Craigville, IN. along with two sisters; Mrs. Mark (Dixie) Hewitt of Marion, In and Mrs. Bruce (Darla) Fink of Batavia, IL. along with several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to visit with Dan’s family from 1 to 4 & 6 to 8 on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the Thoma/Rich, Chaney & Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday in the funeral home with calling one hour prior to the service. Pastor David Terhune will officiate. Burial will follow in Sparks Cemetery in rural Markle.
Memorials may be made in Dan’s memory to American Heart Association, Marshall County Mental Health Association or to an educational fund for Valerie and Marcie, payable to The State Bank of Markle.
