Obituary:
Tracy A. Rigby, 53, of Bluffton, died at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center. Mr. Rigby was born in South Bend on Sept. 4, 1956 to Stanley E. and R. Marilyn (Erickson) Rigby. He married Ann Chaffins in Geneva on Oct. 27, 1974; she survives. A 1974 graduate of South Adams High School, Mr. Rigby has worked at Pretzels in Bluffton for the past one and a half years. He was the owner and operator of Shaver’s Unlimited for the last 30 years. He loved woodworking and was the ultimate handy man. He lived in Wells County for 31 years. Mr. Rigby was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Scott Alan Rigby. In addition to his wife of 35 years, surviving relatives include his father (wife, JoAnn), of Fort Wayne; one daughter, Lori (Scott) Wilson of Bluffton; one son, Troy (Tammy) Rigby of Bluffton, two brothers, David (Mavis) Rigby and Erick (Denise) Rigby, both of Fort Wayne; one sister, LynneAnn Lovell of Columbia City; and two granddaughters, McKenna Rigby and Katie Wilson, both of Bluffton. Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 26, at the Thoma/Rich, Chaney & Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
