Martha Louise Robles, 85, of Bluffton, died at 1:55 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010, at the Bluffton Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Robles was a homemaker and also worked at Magnavox for more than 25 years. She was an active member of the Harvest Time Bible Church, where she served as secretary/treasurer of the executive board for 18 years and also served as a Sunday school teacher. She was a graduate of P.A. Allen (Bluffton) High School. A lifelong resident of Wells County, she was born Nov. 13, 1924, in Bluffton, to Dwight L. Sliger and Nellie Marie Huss Sliger. She married Alfred P. Robles April 4, 1942, in Bluffton; her husband died Aug. 31, 1980. Survivors include a daughter, Judith K. (Harold) Wheeler of Bluffton; four sons, Dennis R. (Mary) Robles of Ossian, Jeffery A. Robles of Bluffton, Rev. Anthony W. (Cammy) Robles of Geneva, and Michael L. (Carol) Robles of Hartford City; 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-granchildren; two sisters, Wanda Bunch of Bluffton and Carolyn (James Luther) Van Gordon of Hartford City; and three brothers, Donald (Erma) Sliger of Decatur, Fred (Sue) Sliger of Zanesville, and Larry Sliger of Bluffton. She was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Mae “Peach” Bunch, in 1981, and a great-granddaughter, Eliana Hope Kinsey, in 2001. Calling will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Thoma/Rich, Chaney, and Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Tony Robles and Rev. Solomon Robles officiating. Burial will be at the Six Mile Cemetery in Bluffton. Online condolences: www.thomarich.com
