Obituary:
Dale Duane Krinn, 77, of Uniondale, passed away at 8:45 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at his home. Born May 5, 1932 in Wells County, to Harold M. and Mildred L. (Paxson) Krinn, he married Sally A. (Michael) in Uniondale, Indiana on July 21, 1957, she survives. Mr. Krinn was a resident of Wells County. He graduated from Bluffton High School in 1950 and served in the U.S. Air Force for four years during the Korean War. He was a life-long Farmer and retired in 1995. Mr. Krinn was a member of American Legion Post #111 and the St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Surviving relatives in addition to his wife include a daughter, Linda Kay Ervin (husb: Gary) of Sarasota, Florida and three sons, Michael Neel Krinn (wife: Jennifer) of Bluffton, Mark Paxson Krinn of Markle, and Matthew Duane Krinn (wife: Shelley) of Uniondale; two sisters, Judy Grove and Joyce Wolf both of Bluffton; Six grandchildren, Troy Krinn (wife: Jennifer) of Bluffton, Amanda Fey (husb: Tony) of Bluffton, Nicholas Krinn of Craigville, Keane Krinn of Uniondale, David Ervin of Sarasota, Florida, and RieAnn Krinn of Uniondale; two great-grandchildren, Alyssa Krinn and Emma Fey. Mr. Krinn was preceded in death by one brother, one sister, and a grandson Wm. Kane Krinn. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2010 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Uniondale with Pastor Richard Vonesh officiating. Calling hours will be from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2010 and 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Thoma/Rich, Chaney & Lemler Funeral Home. There will also be calling one hour prior to services Monday at the church. Burial will be at Horeb Cemetery in Uniondale with military rites conducted by American Legion Post #111 and the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard. *In lieu of flowers and gifts, please make contributions to the St. Mark’s Lutheran Church or Family Hospice and Palliative Care of Berne.
